Random Ways to Cope with Winter

Winter driving, the constant shoveling of snow, and all the darkness got ya down?

Order 600 timbits all the same kind, and see how many you can eat before you're sick of that flavour... then hand out the left over to the homeless, maybe bring some fresh hot coffee with you.

Borrow a food tray from McDees and hit the nearest hill, or snow pile. Don't forget to return the tray, then grab a happy meal.

Grab the phonebook and start calling as many people as you can to wish them a Merry Christmas. Keep a tally of those who hung up on you, how many machines you got and, those who struck up a conversation with you. But please don't call after 5PM people are trying to have dinner.

Throw on a Hawaiian tee, board shorts and, a grass skirt. Grab a fruity drink with little umbrella. And sit out in the snow for a while.... I think it's called a staycation, just don't stay too long.

Throw a pop and chip party with milk and cookies.

Visit an old folks home and spread some holiday cheer, bring your own eggnog.

Go to daily mass... Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 12:10 at St. Mary's in Barrie.

Build a snow man, doing a handstand.

Smile... and Get your loud on!
